TBusiness Development Manager – CDMOLocation: ScotlandDuration: Permanent£40,000 - £50,000 plus bonusNRL are keen to speak with experienced Business Development Managers for a new position located in Scotland. The ideal candidate will have experience across both Human and Animal health, and will be well versed in growing a customer base. Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of a CDMO commercial strategy, working closely with global internal stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients, understanding their evolving needs across pharmaceutical sciences, development, and manufacturing.Represent the full-service capabilities of the organisation, identifying opportunities for collaboration from molecule to market.Prepare, negotiate, and finalise high-quality proposals and contracts that align with client objectives and revenue targets.Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing leaders to deliver cohesive, compelling proposals that reflect an integrated service model.Serve as a key liaison for addressing client challenges, partnering with internal scientific teams across global sites to provide solutions and secure new business.About You:Proven success in business development within the pharmaceutical, CDMO, or animal health sectors, ideally with experience in commercial manufacturing.Strong knowledge of the global animal health sector, with an understanding of veterinary regulatory affairs, clinical development, and product development.Extensive network within animal health.Skilled in influencing and negotiation, with the ability to create awareness and demand across diverse client groups.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver strong presentations and develop winning proposals.Collaborative, professional, and able to build trust across cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.Commercially minded, results-driven, and proactive in managing client relationships.This is an opportunity to join a successful and expanding global business where your input will be valued.
