Learn more about the career below.About the RoleWere looking for a Senior International Business Development Manager to drive global growth by leading our distributor network, expanding into key markets, and maximizing sales performance. This is a high-impact, commercial role perfect for someone who thrives on building strong partnerships and delivering results across international markets.You'll manage top distributors, launch new products, and develop go-to-market strategies that boost brand performance. Youll also play a key role in forecasting, budgeting, and working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.Job Summary:The primary focus of this position is to drive new product sales into the assigned channels and ensure the customers are supported to achieve the budgeted sales.Reports to: Commercial Director - EMEACompensation: 60,000.00 - 65,000.00 AnnuallyDuties/Responsibilities:Sales:Drive sales and profit targets through effective distributor managementMotivate, challenge, and support distributors to maximize sales and profit growthEvaluate existing and potential new distributor performanceWork closely with distributors and sales agents to develop specific retailer plans annuallyDocument and account for funded marketing activitiesBusiness Development:Develop distribution and go to market strategies and plans globallyIdentify and appoint top distribution partners in key marketsOversee launches of new SKUs and brands from our portfolioAnalyze sales and brand performance to drive further profitable growthKeep management informed of relevant market intelligenceFeedback on market specific challenges for products in development and offer solutionsFinance/Operations:Manage all aspects of Customer P&L, including marketing investmentsInput monthly demand forecasting and liaise with Export Customer Service and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfilmentPrepare profit forecasts, sales and A&P budgets per distributor, and conduct quarterly reviewsTrack territory/distributor/retailer forecasts to ensure sales align with targetsMinimum Qualifications, Skills & Previous Experience:Eligibility to work in the UKA minimum of five (5) years of experience in international business development, export account management, or global B2B sales within the FMCG, beauty, or hair-care industriesProven experience in developing new markets and working with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partnersExperience with multi-channel distribution (FDM, retail, e-commerce) is desirableBachelor's degree in business, Marketing or a related field; a qualification in a beauty-related discipline is a plusStrong marketing and brand-building knowledge, including familiarity with marketing analytics tools and stock management systemsGood aptitude in analyzing issues, interpreting market data, and proposing commercially sound solutionsExcellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to create and maintain strong business relationshipsStrong communication (written and oral) and presentation skillsHighly organized, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft Office; experience using CRM platforms such as SalesforceFluency in English; additional languages are a bonusSelf-starter with an international mindset and cultural sensitivityPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift to 15 pounds at a timeEqual Opportunity StatementMarq Labs is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination or harassment.
