Ensure that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.To provide and support provision of evidence-based family interventions and groupworkTo work closely with Adult Social Care and Adult MASH, ensuring joined up pathways of care and exploring co-location opportunitiesBe available to all staff for advice / support around safeguarding children and adults at risk issuesSupport staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback.Lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of staff.About you:Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.Extensive experience of working directly with families and individuals displaying challenging behaviour in one or more of the following fields; social work, youth offending, substance use, probation, health, family work, education, youth and communityKnowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.Experience of supervising, appraising and supporting staff developmentSignificant experience of leading teams who work with families where children are subject to social care intervention.Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practiceAble to lead, inspire and develop a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)Experience and knowledge of Childrens Social Care thresholds, referral processes and interventionsWhat we will give to you:25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) rising by 1 day for each years service Capped at 30 days.Paid Wellness hour each week along with a Wellness hub and Employee Assist ProgrammeContributory pension schemeA great selection of benefits incl. discounts for shopping, cinema, holidays, etc.A friendly and supportive teamPlease ensure that when completing your application form and supporting statement, you reflect on the details outlined in the job description.
