Job Description

Morgan Philips is seeking an energetic and driven recruiter with proven expertise in sourcing high-quality candidates for white-collar construction / engineering roles. This in-house position is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates through direct sourcing methods.Key Responsibilities:Proactively source candidates using various platforms, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.Conduct thorough candidate screenings through interviews and assessments to determine suitability for specific roles.Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of qualified candidates.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role specifications and develop tailored recruiting strategies.Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate engagement, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in recruitment, particularly in the construction sector.Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system and provide regular reports on sourcing metrics and candidate progress.Required Skills:Proven experience as a recruiter, ideally within the construction and / or engineering sector.Strong knowledge of white-collar construction roles and industry-specific skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.Proficiency in direct sourcing techniques and use of social media platforms for recruitment.Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on construction / engineering.Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
