Delivery Manager Data & Analysis This is a Fixed Term Contract Position.Apply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Overall Ambition: Nandos is on a journey to Create Lasting Happiness, making a difference to the lives of our people, our customers, and the communities we work in.Originally started in Johannesburg, South Africa, we pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for everyone involved in Nandos: from our employees, communities, founders, and suppliers, but most importantly, our customers.Whilst we always look back on our history and story with pride, the story is still evolving.We have recently been growing our digital capabilities to ensure the Nandos experience remains relevant to modern-day customers.You will be joining a tech team that has grown rapidly in the past five years and is determined to enable change within the restaurant industry by bringing innovative thinking and the latest technology tools and practices to solve some of its most complex problems.The Data and Analysis Team: We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Data and Analysis team.Our mission is to ensure everyone has the access to the right information at the right time and that Nandos gets the best value out of our data to help achieve our business goals.Our current focus is extracting insights from the data and managing our single source of accurate, timely data and progressed in the best way as we continue to increase our data maturity and advance our predictive analytic capability.You will be part of our work to help manage the delivery of our data pipelines, dashboards, data products and analytics.What we're looking for: Work with an empowered cross-functional team to ensure tooling and processes are optimised to maximise throughput and quality Manage the team backlog and ensure its clarity, refinement, prioritisation, and alignment with the product vision.Support the roadmap planning process Ensure stakeholders are kept updated on delivery and manage any issues Drive cultural change by championing a lean mindset and ensuring Nandos is at the forefront of industry best practices Use lean methodologies to help teams stay on track and eliminate waste, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure successful outcomes Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and being accountable for them Enable teams to build cadence, ensuring that, over time, there is a predictable rhythm for the team Define appropriate delivery metrics (e.g.throughput, lead time) and provide status updates in and outside the team Build strong team culture and morale and ensure team health is monitored and managed Create an open and collaborative working environment, and facilitate conflict resolution Key Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 4 years delivering digital products in an agile environment Experience in Scrum, Kanban or Lean techniques e.g.planning, forecasting, estimating and reporting Experience of implementing agile techniques in different organisational environments Able to adapt delivery frameworks and share knowledge and understanding without being dogmatic Flexibility to tailor a framework to the needs of a team, or to pick up an existing delivery and maintain process and quality where this is already optimised Experience leading and supporting a cross-discipline team to achieve target outcomes.Strong organisational skills with experience managing and working within time-pressured environments Great facilitation, diplomacy and negotiation skills, enabling you to have difficult conversations with stakeholders and the team Strong communication skills Other skills and experience which would be advantageous: ScrumMaster or equivalent certification Jira / Confluence / MIRO (or any similar workflow management tools) Working in a Kanban environment and achievement of goals At Nandos, everyone is welcome.Inspired by our Southern African heritage we know and value the richness that diversity brings to Nandos.Were committed to creating an inclusive and respectful culture for all; including our existing and future Nandocas, partners and suppliers, customers and the communities we are a part of.We deliberately work hard to create an environment where every individual is valued, respected and can ourish regardless of who they are, their background or outlook on life.We welcome applications from a diverse range of individuals and will consider any reasonable adjustments in order to enable candidates to perform as well as possible during the recruitment process.
