Integration Engineer (DevOps) - Contract - Dorset/Hybris working - competitiveAre you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an Integration Engineer to work at a leading defence client of ours, on a contract basis.The candidate will be working as part of a dynamic engineering team that produces critical and cutting-edge defence technology, and this will be an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with some of the best open-source tools out there and play a key role in automating and securing complex systems using Ansible and modern DevOps practices.Responsibilities of the role will include:Configure and integrate open-source products into a secure and stable rigAutomate deployments and system configuration using AnsibleMaintain and support a Linux-based environmentCollaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure robust, compliant deploymentsDocument solutions and contribute to improving automation pipelinesExperience required:Strong background in Linux system administration and strong skills in managing systems and servicesExperience with open-source product integrationStrong DevOps knowledge, and awareness of CI/CD pipelines and containersHands-on experience with Ansible (playbook creation, role management, etc.)Comfortable working in secure, compliance-driven environmentsDue to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC)If you are looking to take the next exciting step in your IT career, please send in your CV for immediate consideration.
