They are seeking a skilled Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team on a contract basis, working on exciting projects across traditional and emerging energy sectors.This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience in C&I packages, who is confident working within the oil and gas environment and ready to take on diverse front-end engineering challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver C&I engineering across all project stages, with a focus on FEED and EPC scopesPrepare and validate technical documents, including design philosophies, specifications, procedures, standards, and data sheetsProvide control and instrumentation expertise for multi-discipline studies and technical reportsConduct engineering assessments and investigative studies in line with client objectivesSupport and participate in safety reviews such as HAZOP and LOPAEnsure designs comply with project specifications and applicable safety and quality standardsCollaborate closely with process, safety, and other engineering teams to develop robust control and safeguarding systemsRequired Experience & SkillsDegree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (Control, Instrumentation, Electrical or similar)Proven experience working on Control & Instrumentation packages within the oil and gas sectorBroad understanding of instrumentation, control systems, and telecoms across large-scale energy projectsStrong working knowledge of international codes and standards related to C&I designExperience in front-end design studies highly desirableFamiliarity with safety integrity levels (SIL), functional safety, and associated risk assessments beneficial
