Our expertise extends to stations, depots, operations, maintenance analytics and asset management across all aspects of rail, including transport, technical and sustainability assessments and systems infrastructure.The vacancy is working as part of a JV for Anthro (Egis & VVB Engineering) to support the HS2 Old Oak Common station project where we are managing the MEPHFC package of work.This role will be based on site near Southwark 3 or 4 days a week.We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Electrical Engineer to join the Transport Solutions MEPHFC Design Team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in either rail station or buildings electrical services design and coordination. As an Electrical Engineer you will review and produce electrical designs. We are looking for someone whos dedicated, diligent, and driven, and will take this challenge head on, being part of a dynamic team with big ambitions.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and monitor technical submittals for approval by the clientProducing electrical designs to project requirementsDevelop design from feasibility up to As BuiltProduction of design proposals (e.g. sketches) for agreement with the client, stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers etc.Writing project communications such as Requests For Information (RFIs) & meeting minutesMaintaining trackers, registers and schedulesCarrying out design reviews and working to design assurance processesQualifications:Electrical Engineering qualificationExperience in rail station or buildings electrical services design and coordinationExperience of working in an engineering production environmentExperience of multi-disciplinary design and coordination, and the delivery of projects to a high quality, throughout all design stagesExperience of working with 3D models in a BIM environmentExperience of producing drawings, schedules and calculationsAbility to find solutions to engineering problemsCapable of managing design interfaces and integration processesKnowledge of British Standards and RegulationsUnderstanding of project scopes, requirements, works information Awareness of delivering work to a programme and budgetEffective communication and collaboration abilitiesCapable of working as part of a team and on own initiative Good understanding of electrical systems from a technical and design perspectiveExperience using engineering software tools including Trimble/Amtech Pro Design, Dialux or ReluxYOU MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UKWhats in it for you:By joining Egis, as well as receiving a competitive salary, youll also have the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.
