As a Legal Cashier, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and support wider financial operations across multiple offices. This is a hands-on role offering variety and responsibility.Key Responsibilities:Processing client and office transactions, including bank transfers and receiptsPerforming daily and monthly bank reconciliationsRaising client invoices and managing overdue payment follow-upsMaintaining accurate client and office ledgersIdentifying and reporting any potential breaches or irregularitiesSupporting the month-end and year-end financial processesPreparing VAT returns and submitting them through the appropriate online portalsLiaising with fee earners, support staff, auditors, clients, banks, and regulatory bodiesAssisting with administrative tasks within the finance team where requiredAbout You:The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm and demonstrate a strong understanding of SRA Accounts Rules.
