DescriptionJob Title: Document Administration Project AssistantJob Location: Canary Wharf (5 days per week in office)Contract Length: Until 31st December 2025Industry: Oil and Energy, Trading and ShippingWorking Hours: 8 Hours per day/ 40 per weekEnsure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.Start Date: Beginning of July 2025Role Overview:Part of bps Supply, Trading & Shipping (ST&S) organisation, the Refining & Products Trading Europe (RPTE) Operations team focuses on managing risk and maximizing commercial value through collaboration and sharing detailed knowledge with internal and external parties.The Port Agency & Document Administration Team provides support to the trading and operations teams on matters concerning port agency and in-port activity, and cargo documentation. The successful applicant will primarily support the Document Administration activities of the team.Refining & Products Trading Europe aims to be recognized industry-wide as an Employer of Choice and an equal opportunity provider.Physical presence in the office is required for handling hard copies of cargo documents. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the office 5 days a week.What you will do:Provide administrative support to ST&S RPTE by handling and processing shipping documents for crude and product cargoes, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Quantity, Quality, Origin, Insurance Certificates, and Letters of Credit.Ensure compliance with Group requirements by maintaining proper controls for recording, filing, endorsing, and recalling shipping cargo documentation.Fulfill bp's contractual obligations in relation to cargo insurance certification.Check accuracy of documents against systems, trading contract requirements and Letter of Credit conditions.What you will have:Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloadExcellent attention to detailStrong self-motivationStrong and proven written communication skillsExperience of working in a corporate environmentExperience of working with IT systemsWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
