Youll be part of a team that ensures everything is working well and safe across several sites. Your responsibilities will include:Perform water temperature checks and flushing (L8 checks) and keep records.Carry Out weekly fire alarm check.Inspect and repair doors, walls, floors and windows.Test emergency lighting and record the results.General caretaking.Support engineering team to ensure smooth running of Bakery.Call contractors when necessary and supervise when onsite.Do basic carpentry: fix cabinets, hang doors, install shelves, repair windows.Handle minor plumbing jobs: fix leaks, unblock pipes, replace pumps and fixtures.Do small electrical repairs: lights, sockets, and general power issues.Help with decorating: painting, plastering, fixing walls and floors.Make sure buildings are well-maintained and cleaneither by doing the work yourself or helping manage contractors.Promote energy-saving and recycling across the buildings.About UsAt Gearys, were on a crusade to make proper bread more accessible to more people.
