Position Title: Development Trimmer Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityDuration: Contract Location: GaydonPosition DescriptionFor the development trimmer role, our Client requires a highly skilled individual for seat development, with patterning, sewing and component trimming capabilities.The role involves working with our technical specialist to deliver feasibility studies through physical seats Essential SkillsAutomotive Patterning - SeatsHigh level of machine sewingPrevious experience working in automotive design environmentExperience & Qualifications Required Experience of full trimming full seats from patterning to finishing and flitting.Experience of production and manufacture processes for seatsEngineering capability for seat functionality (airbags, climate)Previous experience of working with leather, PVC's and textiles.Ability to be able to read and interpret rendered designs, 3d cad, drawings and colour call outs.Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior managementDesirable Experience & Qualifications Microsoft office 365 experienceExperience of development and production for accessoriesKnowledge of mass production process and procedures, in depth knowledge of textile Additional Information Offers post-interview will be aligned to candidates' skill set/ experience Why work through Contech's?Contechs are a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology & Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
