Electrical Construction SupervisorAre you an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor looking for your next challenge? This role involves overseeing and coordinating construction activities related to EPCM projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.Location: Barnard CastleContract Type: 1 year minimum- Likely extensionsKey Responsibilities:Supervise construction electrical projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.Provide technical expertise and guidance on all EC&I installations.Monitor project progress and conduct assessments to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.Foster a culture of safety, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Document all construction activities, including daily reports, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawings.Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations on-site to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.Implement quality control measures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and client requirements.Requirements:17th/18th edition wiring regulations.Trade-related city and guilds qualification - ECS gold card (or equivalent).Recognized professional certification in construction site supervision - SSSTS (minimum), ideally SMSTS.Minimum of 5 years of experience in CES field supervision on complex industrial projects, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector.Proficient in MS Office.Desirable:Bachelors degree/HND/HNC in electrical engineering.TWS (temporary works supervisor) certification.
