You'll initially be based in our Head Office in Southampton, and following probation the opportunity of hybrid home/office working.What will you be responsible for:Provide support with the Subsidence Team and wider divisionsDevelop a detailed knowledge of all aspects of subsidence claims, and be able to gain and apply policy cover, terms and conditions as appropriateUndertake triage calls to identify valid subsidence claims and whether site investigations are required at point of visitReport preparation and completion within the agreed SLAs, maintaining high standards of communication, both internally and externallyProcess claims in accordance with Insurers philosophy, standards, service levels and complaints procedure and proactively progress the claimReviewing of claims, amendments and updating within our claims systemRespond positively to varying client requirements and changes in the wider business environmentWhat we need from you:Previous experience in a similar industry / role, handling difficult conversationsCert CII and/or Cert CILA, BDMA or similarEffective written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate complex issuesExcellent customer service skillsStrong administrative skills, with experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookGood technical and problem-solving skills with an eye for identifying solutionsSelf-sufficient, self-motivated and confident.
