Recently named a top-five law firm to work for in 2024, they are also champions of diversity, sustainability, and community engagement.The Role:An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal (or CILEX qualified individual) to join the specialist marine insurance claims team. The role will focus on supporting litigation and casualty work involving personal injury matters across the marine industry. Based in Bristol, the role sits within a team recognised for handling complex, high-value, cross-border disputes.Key Responsibilities of a Personal Injury Paralegal :Manage a caseload of pre-litigated and litigated defendant personal injury claims (PL/EL) across various tracksDraft key legal documents such as defences, statements, instructions to counsel, and court applicationsSupport accident investigations and travel across the UK at short notice when neededLiaise confidently with clients, insurers, witnesses, and other stakeholdersRequirements of the Personal Injury Paralegal include: Prior experience handling defendant personal injury claims on behalf of insurers or similar partiesFamiliarity with the Claims Portal and CPR complianceAbility to undertake legal research and prepare well-structured case summariesWillingness to attend court hearings, case conferences, and manage CRU certificates were requiredYour benefits include:Salary up to 40,000 depending on experience25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and long service recognitionPrivate healthcare (post-probation), enhanced parental leave, and paid CSR dayProfit share and performance bonus schemeAgile/hybrid working policy and "Dress for Your Day" flexibilitySubsidised gym membership and access to an electric car schemeStrong internal development framework and buddy system for supportIf you're a motivated personal injury paralegal looking to thrive in a supportive and forward-thinking legal environment, we want to hear from you.
