Job Title: Head of Capital Markets & FundingMake sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Location: LondonReporting to: CFODirect Reports: 3Role OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee and grow their capital markets and funding operations. This role is critical in managing current funding partnerships, leading new funding arrangements, supporting pricing and portfolio decisions, and ensuring robust internal and external reporting. The successful candidate will also contribute at both the Executive Committee and Board level.Key ResponsibilitiesFunding Partner ManagementLead relationships with forward flow funding partners.Chair monthly funder meetings and manage ad hoc discussions (e.g., weekly calls).Negotiate and execute renewals, extensions, and changes in terms.Execution of New Funding ArrangementsOversee execution of new funding facilities and extensions.Support legal documentation, including review and interpretation of redlines.Guide negotiations and develop summaries of key terms for future negotiations.Pricing & Loan AllocationSupport the Pricing Committee on loan allocation and concentration limits.Provide analytical input to optimize yield, return, and volume trade-offs.Monitoring & ReportingOversee automated data reporting tools and enhance external reports.Improve internal funding line reporting and communication.Manage and mentor a team of three, focusing on internal capability development.Train a junior team member over six months and lead recruitment if needed.Funder Marketing & Relationship DevelopmentSupport business development by nurturing existing pipeline and identifying new opportunities.Represent the company in discussions and due diligence with funding partners.Executive & Board EngagementParticipate in monthly Executive Committee meetings, representing capital markets and funder relationships.Present funding updates at bi-monthly Board meetings.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in capital markets, structured finance, or related fields.Strong understanding of legal documentation and negotiations.Experience managing external stakeholders and internal teams.Leadership skills to develop high-performing teams.Ability to operate strategically and tactically at Board and ExCo levels.#J-18808-Ljbffr
