Legal Counsel (Employment)Remember to check your CV before applying Also, ensure you read through all the requirements related to this role.We are looking for a Legal Counsel (Employment) to join our Legal team here at Harrods. You will provide the Harrods business with effective and wide-ranging contentious and non-contentious legal and strategic advice on a variety of matters on employment matters.About the RoleThis role will ensure the business is protected, legally compliant, has certainty regarding its rights and obligations in employment matters and is effectively risk-managed. This role will also see preparing pleadings and witness evidence and coordinating disclosure in respect of Tribunal claims and, as required, attending Tribunal hearings.You will also:Provide advice and support on employee grievances, claims and dismissalsProvide legal advice in relation to corporate, commercial, data protection and GDPR matters in so far as they relate to employment mattersProvide training to business on employment mattersAbout YouThe ideal candidate must be a qualified solicitor (or equivalent qualified lawyer) permitted to practise in England and Wales.
