Job DescriptionBanking Solicitor (Real Estate Finance),Prestige City firm, 65-85k + doe, flex and hybrid working.The RoleOur client, a leading commercial city law firm is continuing their exponential growth trajectory and is looking to add another member to their renowned Banking and Finance practice.You will work closely with a top-class team, who are passionate about their work, providing bespoke solutions to their clients.Their prolific client portfolio includes acting for a wide range of different lenders, non-bank lenders, alternative lenders, entrepreneurs, private family offices, property companies, funds, sponsors, developers, joint venture vehicles, entrepreneurs and borrowers on real estate investment and development finance projects across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Manage your own caseload and assist Senior Associates/Partners with highly complex transactions including:Transactions including Asset finance, Structured finance, Leveraged finance (10%), Bridging finance.Transactions involving international components, offshore jurisdictions, and international clients investing in UK property.Working on a range of deals valued from 1 m to 50 m across various asset types, including residential, office, PRS, student housing, mixed-use developments, hotels, retail, and buy-to-let projects.Acting for both lenders (predominantly) and some borrowers on a broad spectrum of complex financial transactions related to real estate finance.Drafting legal documentation including: Security documentation, Facility letters, Loan agreements, Debentures, Guarantees, Deeds of priority, Legal charges, Inter-creditorsRequirements2-4 years' PQE as a Banking & Finance Solicitor, with solid experience in Real Estate finance transactions.Experience working with well-known lendersCollaborative spirit, contributing actively to team and firm growth.Commitment to delivering high standards of client service.Excellent written and verbal communication.Experience in client engagement and business development initiatives.Open-minded and dynamic, with a natural drive to succeed.What they offer:High value and complex work, but still enjoy a work life balance.They reward top performance with promotion to directorshipA rare and personable culture, with firm wide collaboration across teams.Flexible and hybrid workingIf you are looking to expand your knowledge and career working on high level matters, please contact me as follows:Jo Cokayne at or call for a confidential discussion on 0208 078 9236 (office hours) or 07925104795 (out of office hours).LR Legal is a specialist legal recruitment agency with a reputation based on trust and integrity.
