Amazon is seeking a smart, enthusiastic, hardworking, and creative candidate for the role of Manager, Category Management in the Grocery Category team in India. The candidate will own and drive the scale-up of categories and critical customer-focused initiatives. They must share our passion for serving customers and making Amazon a preferred partner for Grocery brands. The role requires balancing big-picture thinking, working with ambiguity, and accelerating experimentation. We seek self-starters with strong analytical skills, result orientation, and the ability to make data-driven decisions independently while collaborating with senior stakeholders across borders. Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will demonstrate strengths in independent problem-solving, working around constraints, effective communication, ownership, persistence, leadership in project management, and adaptability to evolving structures in a new space. Leading a team to achieve organizational goals is essential. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of team management experience 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience Bachelor's degree Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, promotions, or inventory management Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration Experience at a senior level in the fashion industry, ideally in e-commerce, retail, key account management, or consulting PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience using data to influence business decisions Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
