Job Description Financial Takes care of the restaurant cashiering as per policy. Helps manage crockery and appliances by avoiding breakages. Assists with inventories as per schedules. Operational Prepares the restaurant and preparation areas according to outlet standards and layout. Welcomes guests and provides waiter service. Before each shift, reviews dish composition and any service-related official communication. • Organizes work to accommodate fluctuations in guest numbers and events. • Ensures all equipment remains in good condition. Cleans and polishes glassware and silverware. Replenishes linen and other operating supplies. Obtains requested items from the storeroom. Follows the correct sequence of service outlined in the Standard Operating Manual. Sets up tables according to restaurant policy. Clears dishes from tables after service. Clean spills during and after service. Transports soiled dishes to the kitchen and deposits them in the steward area. Cleans and tidies the restaurant and preparation areas after closing. Team Management Participates in departmental meetings to meet targets, respecting procedures and internal audits. General Duties Suggests food and beverage options, requiring good knowledge of the menu, preparation methods, and accompaniments. Maintains cleanliness and mise-en-place at workstations and service pantry. Ensures the overall appearance and maintenance of restaurant work areas.
