Specialty Doctor in Medicine for the ElderlyApplications are invited for a Part-Time Specialty Doctor position to join the Medicine for the Elderly Team in Perth and Kinross, NHS Scotland. The service at Perth Royal Infirmary provides comprehensive care for older patients, including assessment by the acute frailty team, inpatient units, and community services. The role offers opportunities to rotate through various aspects of the service, including inpatient, outpatient, and community care. We seek an individual with broad medical or GP experience and a keen interest in caring for older people. The candidate should be a team player, contribute to service development, and have opportunities to develop a sub-specialty interest within Medicine of the Elderly. This position supports professional development, including the potential to pursue the CESR route or transition into a senior clinician role, with flexible working options.
