We are supporting their recruitment of a Retail Development Manager for the wholesale side, focusing on groceries wholesale and supporting franchise stores under the group brand. This is a field-based role around London, South East, or Southampton, covering approximately 35+ stores. The group supports over 4,000 stores across the UK. As the company enters its next growth phase, they seek an experienced Retail Development Manager to join their team, providing opportunities to expand your network, industry knowledge, and impact. You will build positive relationships with customers, ensuring they maximize their relationship with the company. Strong communication skills and food retail experience are essential. Key Responsibilities: Drive loyalty and sales by building relationships and helping retailers realize growth opportunities. Create excellent customer experiences and address store issues effectively. Manage your schedule, visiting convenience retailers across your region. Work closely with customers, challenging and educating them to foster productive relationships. Take responsibility for your performance and KPIs. Act as a liaison between head office and customers, collaborating with IT, logistics, and operational teams to resolve issues. Previous experience required: Proven success in food retail/FMCG sales, with skills in building partnerships, negotiating agreements, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance revenue and growth.
