Passive Fire Compliance SurveyorMaximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.We are looking for experienced Compliance Surveyor for a series of contracts across London and the South-East.RGE is a rapidly growing Fire and Electrical compliance business, with a fantastic reputation with our clients, and a great track record in investing in our staff to help them further their careers.Whats on offer:Market-leading base salary (weekly pay), with opportunities for overtimeGenuine opportunity for career progression, with >70% of our Contract Managers and Supervisors starting life as engineers with RGEAbove-average total holiday allowance of 33 daysFree company van, fuel card, and plant toolsThe ideal passive fire compliance surveyor will be able to:Confidently identify issues with both compartmentation/firestopping as well as Fire door installs and remedialsUnderstanding of current British standard in passive fire for both fire stopping and fire doorsEnsure all works are carried out to a standard that satisfies the company, our customers, and accreditations (FIRAS and BM Trada)Computer literateProvide excellent and friendly customer service to our customersCommunicate well with your manager and our administration staffStrong understanding of the third-party certification process, as well as audits (Firas/Bm-Trada)Has previously delivered training in Passive ComplianceConfident in writing compliance-based TBTsQualifications required for a Passive Fire Compliance Surveyor :UK Driving License (required)IFE Passive Fire Protection Level 2 or above (preferred but not required)FIRAS-assessed/Previously been an Approved installer under the Bm-Trada Scheme (preferred but not required)At least 5 years proven experience in Passive Fire, preferably with 1 years experience within the public sectorSchedule:Monday - Friday 08:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch breakSalary & BenefitsMarket-leading salary relative to experience (PAYE) (weekly pay)23 days holiday per year, rising to 25 days after two years of employmentAmazing in-house training programme (member of FIRAS, BM Trada, NICEIC, ECA, BAFE, FIA, etc.).
