A high-profile trade finance business is looking to hire an operations manager ahead of its launch later this year.Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.The firm have significant committed capital and so they have large buildout / expansion plans this is a role with huge growth potential in the transactional trade finance space. As operations manager, the hire will buildout and run the Trade Finance Operations function, covering all front office operations / middle-office / risk responsibilities for the trade finance business hands-on, with budget to hire a junior in Q4. The intention is for the hire to step into the COO role in 2-3yrs time (when he likely takes a different seat internally).Candidates should come from specialist trade finance backgrounds, with an ability to work both hands-on operations and on a buildout / with a track record delivering successful projects. We prefer candidates to come from banking backgrounds, but can be open to specialist firms / boutiques. Any advanced tech skills would be useful, with strong excel as a minimum expectation.The role is targeted to pay a 150-200k TC initially, with an expectation that once the firm is truly up and running the comp package will be 'much more significant' than this from year2+.The hire will have the option to work fully remote, or hybrid from the firms central London office.Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
