They conduct electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance and service works to an increasing number of customers and pride themselves on their approach to providing a quality service.Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityRole Overview: Commissioning EngineerJoining their tight-knit commissioning team, my client is looking for a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to assist with delivering commissioning requirements for their increasing customer base & project workload. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and have a desire to assist with growing the business.Key Responsibilities: Responsible for testing, verifying, and commissioning newly installed or upgraded electrical power systems. Conduct pre-energisation checks & relay testing on electrical power systems. Responsible for the commissioning of LV & HV electrical systems, including substations, switchgears, transformers, BESS. Responsible for travel across the UK and occasionally Europe to carry out commissioning duties, with an expectation to be away from home 65% of each working week. Most projects are currently up to 33KV, and there will be a long-term goal to carry out commissioning duties on projects up to 132KV. Work as part of a team & build strong relationships with customers.Requirements: At least 4 years' experience in a similar electrically biassed commissioning role. HNC/HND qualified in electrical engineering, installations, commissioning or a similar discipline. Experience with the commissioning of 33KV electrical power systems, with 132KV being preferred. Happy with travel across the UK & overseas as required.
