This is an exciting new position reporting to the Planning Manager and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the role.About the roleAs the business continues to grow there is a need for a dedicated Demand Planning Analyst. The key responsibilities of this role will be:Key responsibilities:The role contributes to all aspects of the product life cycle, from SKU and category planning, rolling up spend, through to getting stock delivered into our warehouse to clearing stock out of the businessProvide weekly insight into stock and sales levels through various reporting toolsCreate and shape ongoing forecasts and challenge process where appropriatePrepare forecast data and stock buy details for sign off meetingsAssist in planning stock levels across 3 territoriesWorking with the production and procurement team to produce optimal buys, delivery splits and priorities, ensuring key lines are never out of stockMonitor promotional activities and highlight variances where they differ from the sales forecastContinue supporting development of stock systems and forecasting methods to continually improve accuracy across the businessWhat were looking for:Must-havesDemonstrated proficiency in forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impactsA high level of Excel knowledge with the ability to analyse and manipulate data quickly and an attention to detail SQL knowledge advantageousProven working experience of stock managementStrong listening, presentation, and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of the business affecting the forecast processCommercial acumen and the ability to interpret market trendsKnowledge of end to end supply chain practices advantageousInventory managementMathematical skillsOrganisational skillsWhat we can offer:Competitive Salary33 days holiday, inclusive of UK bank holidaysEarly finish on a FridaysExcellent staff discount on Muc-Off productsHeadspace full access to the meditation appChill out areas, showers and a secure area to store your bikePension contributionsAn awesome opportunity to work with a local and widely recognised BrandA cool, casual and fully branded-up working environment where staff indulge their passions for cycling and fitnessBrilliant social events
