Our client is currently looking for a CNC Setter Operator to join their high precision manufacturing team. The CNC Setter Operator will be working on 5 Axis CNC machines and ideally have experience of Fanuc and Heidenhain.Apply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Key Responsibilities for the CNC Setter OperatorSetting and operating any of the companys VMC and 5 Axis CNC machines, as requiredPerforming First Off`s, checking dimensional quality & amending machine settings in pursuit of component design requirementsOperating to an acceptable production target whist maintaining a high standard of quality where right-first-time is paramountMaintaining computer records on tool usage relating to barrel & other matched machined partsSetting up and operating all types of manual machining equipment, covering milling, turning, grinding and marking processesProgramming CNC machines for small batch partsKey Experience for the CNC Setter OperatorPrevious experience as a CNC Setter Operator with both Fanuc and Heidenhain based CNC programmingExperience in the use of One CNC / EdgeCAMAn excellent attention to detail & mechanical dexterity when dealing with small precision partsProblem identification and rectificationAbility to read engineering drawings and comprehension of geometric tolerancingGood working knowledge of both ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality SystemsGood communication skills with appreciation of supporting department Design, Purchasing & Inspection needsPlease apply as directed!
