Avidity Science is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our team on a 1-year fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity leave. To be successful in your application, you will need to have demonstrable experience in the MEP trade and be located in a commutable distance from our company offices (HP18 9BA). You will have experience managing sub-contractors and reviewing contract requirements related to installations of physical equipment and associate infrastructures. You will need a full driving license and a car for this role as you will need to travel to various customer sites on a regular basis. Your Role: As a Project Manager, you will: Collaborate with the Sales Team to scope, price, and document projects. Conduct site visits for surveys and detailed planning. Manage contracts, subcontractors, and all project documentation. Lead project kick-off calls and maintain schedules, budgets, and milestones. Ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements. Provide weekly updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Oversee project delivery from initiation to customer handover and support transition. Handle post-acceptance actions and ensure accurate project closure. Manage project progress using ERP software. What Were Looking For: An industry applicable degree or equivalent work experience. Experience in Laboratory Research, Healthcare, or Life Sciences (pure water experience is a plus). Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background an advantage French and/or German language skills are an advantage. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Commercial and contractual awareness. A proactive, team-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities. Project Management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP) is advantageous. CSCS card. Ability to travel to customer locations across UK and Europe.
