Due to an internal promotion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Operations professional to join a leading FMCG company, based in Kent. This role will oversee all aspects of operations, directly line managing Production, Warehousing, Engineering and allocations, ensuring a safe, compliant, efficient working environment and coaching teams to high levels of performance. Continuous improvement is going to be key, both in mindset and practical application. What are we looking for? Experience working as an Operations Manager, Site Manager, Factory Manager or General Manager in an FMCG environment (ideally food, drink, fresh produce) Strong understanding of food safety and quality standards. Experience of lean manfuacturing/continuous improvement. A coaching management style with a track record of building high performing teams. Experience of logistics/warehouse management in addition to core production management expertise. Financially astute - capable of controlling costs, managing budgets and optimising the overall financial performance of the plant.
