About The RoleAs a Bank Regional Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help our residents get the most out of life. It's a varied role that involves providing cover as needed. You will monitor care delivery, contribute to person-centred care planning, and record observations such as temperature and blood pressure. The role also involves providing support and companionship, ensuring every resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with our carers during each shift. About YouA background in care, especially elderly care, is important. A Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care and a good understanding of the healthcare industry are desirable. Ideally, you'll have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths. Dedication, compassion, and a passion for supporting people's wellbeing are essential. Flexibility is required, and you should have access to a car, as travel across the area is involved. Mileage will be covered over five miles from your main home, and a bonus is available if inspections are successful with a 'Good' rating while you're on duty.
