Join us on a journey where passion meets flavour, crafting experiences that bring people together and delight taste buds.Job DescriptionAs theQuality Assurance Supervisor,you will support and deputise for the Quality Assurance Manager, manage a team of direct reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards, customer codes of practice, and external accreditation requirements. You will serve as a key point of contact for quality and food safety issues during shifts, working collaboratively across departments to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and ManagementDeputise for the Quality Assurance Manager as required. Train and mentor direct reports on procedures, ensuring all training records are maintained and up to date. Oversee the teams workload and manage deadlines effectively.Standards and ComplianceSupport QA and Operations teams to ensure compliance with factory procedures, customer policies, and accreditation standards. Act as a point of contact for quality and food safety concerns during shifts. Participate in auditing processes, including QMS, GMP, fabrication, and CCP audits. Assist the QA Manager with handling holds, concessions, rejections, and incidents. Monitor and report on technical KPIs. Assist in creating QAS documents, line standards, and internal specifications. Update documentation, procedures, and risk assessments as needed. Collaborate with management and supervisors to promote Right First Time production and continuous improvement.Customer and Audit EngagementSupport and participate in customer visits and technical audits, ensuring successful outcomes. Assist with day-to-day BRC and retailer audit management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of non-conformances.QualificationsQualifications & KnowledgeFood Science or a related qualification OR a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles. Experience in FMCG or similar fast-paced environments.Skills & ExperiencePrevious supervisory experience is advantageous. Strong passion for quality and product excellence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to build strong relationships across teams and departments. Experience coaching, developing, and mentoring team members. Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of prioritising tasks effectively. Problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement focus.
