This is just one of the benefits that come with working at DX, the others are listed below:Competitive Rates of PayLife AssuranceEnhanced Maternity & PaternityHolidays: 20 days increasing with length of service + bank holidaysLong Service Recognition schemeCompany Pension SchemeEmployee Assistance programme including 24/7 Virtual GPDX Discounts PortalExcellent opportunities for career progressionOverall Purpose of RoleThe role is to manage the transport administration by supporting the operation with all sub-contractor queries to ensure that the DX Service Centres are supported to deliver a service in line with Customer Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure all trunk vehicles from SC's to the central hubs and back to the SC's are available.Ensure all details of of any driver change / agency drivers are published to the operations team via the daily trunk update document.Take responsibility of organising additional vehicles as required.To maintain contractor files ensuring all compliance documentation is current.Manage cost by identifying areas of efficiency in the trunking network.Encourage and promote positive employee relations throughout the Operation encouraging a "Can Do" attitudeProvide administrative assistance to aid the night operationComplete all reports accurately.Ensure all reports are kept to the strict timelines.Administrative tasks during the DayProvide good quality pro-active information for the night and day shift so reporting is of a high standard and all sub-contractors are paid as per SLA.Communicate with all SC's to ensure the Hub is providing high quality service to them and they are conforming to company and customer SLA's each morning.Capture information to supply back and aid with revenue capture/protectionKnowledge, Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in transport preferredPrevious experience in the Mail or Distribution industryUnderstanding of DX Products is preferred but not essentialAbility to work on own initiative.Ideas driven and ability to formulate new methods to improve the operationAble to communicate well with peopleAble to produce reports in a concise mannerKnowledge of the UK transport/road network preferredGood monitoring skills.Ability to collate information to forward plan events on the roadProficient with Excel, Word, OutlookPersonal SpecificationsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detailSelf-motivated and able to drive and motivate staffAble to make clear and sound decisions whilst working under pressureFlexible and positive to their approach to operational changesCan do attitudeAble to work on own initiative without supervisionForward plannerPC literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)TPBN1_UKTJ
