This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) .The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing maintenance in accordance with specification and scheduled works packages, ensuring full compliance and safety at all times.Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine and non-routine plumbing maintenancePerform fault finding and provide effective solutionsIdentify and report life-expired equipmentCheck, repair, and replace plumbing systems as neededComplete inspections, water sampling, and risk assessmentsConduct mains water supply repairsWork in line with health and safety standards and approved method statementsMinimise material waste and promote efficient practicesEnsure statutory maintenance is delivered on time and is fully compliantRequirements: NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)Full UK Driving LicenceGas Safe Registration (essential)Legionella Control (L8) certificationExperience with Maximo or similar maintenance management systemsCompetent in the use of light plant equipmentComfortable working at height and in all weather conditionsWhat We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: 14.50 16.00 (negotiable depending on experience)Immediate start availableOngoing, long-term projectSupportive and professional working environmentFull PPE and site-specific training providedApply Now: If you're a qualified plumber with experience in PPM and are available to start immediately in Wakefield, we want to hear from you.Venatu Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer.
