We seek a strategic Director for Development and Regulation to lead and modernise our built environment and regulatory services.THE VACANCYDirector for Development and RegulationHours: Full timeContract: PermanentSalary: Up to £130,000 per annum plus benefitsLocation: DudleyKey ResponsibilitiesOversee development, acquisitions, disposals, and capital projects. Ensure building safety compliance and construction oversight. Manage technical and professional services, including surveyors and architects. Handle property and facilities management across HRA and corporate estates. Lead regulatory services such as development management (LPA), trading standards, environmental health, food safety, licensing, private sector housing, building control, and more. Administer Disabled Facilities Grants and statutory enforcement functions.We Are Looking ForProven ability to drive major capital programmes and strategic development.
