JOB ROLE: Theater Healthy Care Assistant JOB TYPE: Permanent/Full Time SALARY: £29,583.00 per year LOCATION: London JOB REFERENCE: C9196-25-1016 JOB SUMMARY: The post holder will expected to fulfil any duties allocated that are commensurate with role. Provide excellent patient-centred care skills to patients and their families. Undertake a range of delegated duties including portering for patients, overseeing theatre consumables and supplies, checking of equipment under supervision, acting as a runner between theatres when required. Assist in the organisation and running of the theatres by undertaking housekeeping and clerical duties as appropriate Assist in the cleaning of clinical areas and equipment, ensuring that the area is clear of potential hazards, removing clinical waste and contaminated items to relevant collection areas. Recognise and avoid situations that may be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of the individuals. To act as an advocate for patients within the department, to ensure a patient orientated approach to the delivery of care. Provides support and assistance to the nursing staff in Evelina Theatres. Work flexibly between areas dependant on service requirements.
