Injection Mould Machine OperatorIf you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.Location: Chester-le-Street, UKSalary: 28,000 - 31,869 per annumSector: ManufacturingAn excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Chester-le-Street. The successful candidate will be instrumental in setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion lines, drying and blending equipment, and offline granulation processes.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion lines, drying, and blending equipment.Monitor and adjust processes to ensure product specifications are consistently met.Conduct quality checks and perform online adjustments as required.Wrap and prepare finished products for despatch.Complete all necessary production paperwork accurately.Support the Shift Team Leader in quality testing and measurements.Handle pallets and assist with their movement.Maintain high housekeeping standards and participate in hygiene audits.Promote and ensure safe working practices at all times.Person Specification:Professional Qualifications:A good general education with strong numeracy and literacy skills.A current counterbalance forklift licence is required.Experience:At least 2 years' experience in extrusion manufacturing.Behavioural Competencies:Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build trust with colleagues.Positive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.Excellent interpersonal skills, with respect for others and their contributions.Technical Competencies:Operational knowledge of extrusion processes and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience in machine operation and handling breakdowns effectively.Why Join Us?This role offers a competitive salary of 28,000 - 30,791.49 per annum, alongside the opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative manufacturing environment.TPBN1_UKTJ
