Mechanical Pipefitter -Water/UtilitiesIncrease your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Pipefitter to join our team working on critical projects within the water and utilities sector . You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical pipework and associated systems, supporting water treatment facilities, pumping stations, and distribution networks.Responsibilities:Install and assemble mechanical pipework systems (stainless steel, carbon steel, ductile iron, plastic)Interpret and work from engineering drawings, P&IDs, and site layoutsCarry out pipe fitting, threading, cutting, bending, and welding as requiredMaintain and repair valves, pumps, and other associated mechanical equipmentRequirements :Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipefitter, ideally in water/utilities or industrial sectorsStrong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsCompetent in various pipe materials and jointing methodsCSCS or equivalent safety card (essential)Confined Space and/or EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable)NVQ Level 2/3 in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)Driving licence (essential if travel to sites is required)Package :36-38K SalaryCompany VehicleOvertime and travel allowances (where applicable)Long-term project pipeline across the regionPPE and tooling providedSupportive and safety-focused team culturePlease call Steve for a confidential chat on 07903 686255 or email with your CV.Location: Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Bristol, Worcester, Evesham, Birmingham,TPBN1_UKTJ
