We are currently supporting a Private Equity-backed Pharmaceutical on an Associate Director, M&A hire as they look to expand their portfolio through in-organic growth. In this role you will be joining an established and high-performing team. Therefore, it is essential you are able to demonstrate examples working part of a Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical M&A function. Role Responsibilities Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify and evaluate marketed and pre-commercial stage targets Sizing in-licensing and acquisition opportunities as well as lifecycle opportunities using public domain databases, epidemiology, reviewing published clinical literature, analyzing pricing information and performing competitive landscape analysis Support both Commercial and Financial Due Diligence activities through independent work and broader project management of other advisors Build and analyse complex financial models and evaluations Maintaining the M&A pipeline Experience Required: 5 years experience in M&A, Investment Banking, or Strategic Finance within the Pharmaceutical/ Life Sciences industry Financial modelling and evaluation expertise Excellent business acumen with the ability to asses the strategic impact of transactions Exceptional communication skills Pan-European transactions experience is a strong preference Degree in a Life Sciences discipline is preferred but not essential
