Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Supervisor to oversee and manage a team of engineers on a mobile contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, maintenance, and repair works related to commercial gas systems within secure environments. This role is ideal for a former Commercial Gas Engineer looking to take the next step into a leadership role. Key Responsibilities as a Commercial Gas Supervisor: * Supervise and lead a team of Commercial Gas Engineers working across multiple sites north of Nottingham. * Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed in line with industry regulations and company standards. * Provide technical support and guidance to engineers on complex gas-related issues. * Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Liaise with the client, stakeholders, and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and address service requirements. * Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of completed works. * Oversee stock levels and procurement of necessary materials for gas maintenance operations. * Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and other industry-specific legislation. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer with relevant industry qualifications. * Gas Safe registered with valid commercial gas qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, etc.). * Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a maintenance or FM environment. * Strong knowledge of heating and boiler systems in commercial and custodial settings. * Experience working in high-security environments such as prisons (desirable but not essential). * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Full UK Driving License (essential).
