My client based on the outskirts of St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator on a full time permanent basis. We are seeking candidates with basic electro-mechanical skills to work in an expanding team.The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below. Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm Own transport required due to location 24-26,000 per annum DOECommon duties may include: Assembling different electronic components using hand tools and soldering irons. Drilling and basic machining on plastic/metal enclosures using machine tools such as pillar-drills. Testing finished products and parts. Identifying and rectifying product defects and assembly problems, replacing faulty components when necessary. Following clean room procedures and safety protocols to handle sensitive electronic components. Collaborating with other team members to optimise production processes and quality.
