Job description Painter Required * Job Type: Temporary * Start dates: Immediate * Industry: Building and Construction * Location: Ashford, Kent * Time: 7:30-16:30 * Salary: £19.50-£20.00 Per Hour * Duration: 2 Days a Week Ongoing Job Description ITS Building people are looking for an experienced Decorator to assist our client with a project based in Ashford, Kent . Own transport would be beneficial but public transport is available in this project. Additional training and a full-time contract may be provided for the right candidates. Daily responsibilities will include: * Prepare & treat surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling before applying finishes * Apply paint, wallpaper, & decorative finishes to interior and exterior surfaces * Mix and match paints & materials to achieve desired colours and textures * Protect surrounding areas with coverings and ensure a clean, safe workspace * Advise clients on colour schemes, materials, & decoration techniques Requirements for the role * Experience Decorator * Valid CSCS Card * The ability to perform physical manual labour if required * You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee. * Own tools required Training/Progression opportunities: · There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management *Rates of Pay: · Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
