Forklift Operative Location: Newton Abbot  Pay Rate: £12.58 per hour  Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm  Contract Type: Temporary  Reporting to: Production Control Manager About the Role We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Forklift Operative to support their busy production and dispatch operations. This is a hands-on role involving the safe movement of high-value equipment, stock handling, and supporting the wider production team. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, operating a variety of forklifts and assisting with loading, unloading, and internal logistics. Key Responsibilities Operate counterbalance forklifts to move stock and equipment safely Load and unload deliveries, including large and high-value items Support stores and dispatch teams with picking, packing, and stock control Maintain a clean and safe working environment Occasionally support off-site deliveries and collections using company vehicles What We’re Looking For Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (with evidence of training from a regulated body) Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment Comfortable handling large or high-value items Good attention to detail and a strong safety mindset Flexible and proactive approach to supporting the wider team If you’re a confident forklift operator looking for a new challenge in a supportive and well-established business, we’d love to hear from you!  Apply now to be considered!
