This role performs hands-on maintenance and repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems to ensure a comfortable, well-maintained living environment for residents.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of residential building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, fire safety). Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders, ensuring timely and professional service. Diagnose and repair issues in apartment units and common areas, including lighting, locks, appliances, and fixtures. Conduct unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, minor repairs, and appliance testing. Assist with groundskeeping, snow removal, and seasonal tasks as needed. Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized work (e.g., elevators, roofing, pest control). Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance logs. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsExperience in Facility Management (FM) and Preventive MaintenanceProficiency in Building Maintenance, including Plumbing and Carpentry, decorating skillsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitudeExperience in a hospitality or residential setting is a plusRelevant certifications in maintenance or facilities management are advantageous
