Our client specializes in steel construction and is looking to expand their workforce with a dedicated professional experienced in erecting steel structures.The Steel Erector will ideally have the following attributes:Proven experience in steel erection and constructionRelevant certification or qualification in construction or a related field (NVQ, CSCS card, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plansStrong understanding of safety regulations and proceduresProficiency with tools and equipment used in steel erectionPhysical fitness and ability to work at heightsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsA keen eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanshipThe Steel Erector role will involve:Erecting steel structures, frameworks, and other components on construction sitesAssembling and installing steel beams, columns, and girders according to specificationsUsing cranes and other lifting equipment to position steel componentsEnsuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulationsCollaborating with other team members and contractors to ensure project timelines are metInspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure proper functioningPerforming welding and bolting tasks as requiredIdentifying and resolving any issues that arise during the erection processIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, including your availability and salary expectations - cwhite@pg-rec.com
