Job Title: Product DeveloperScroll down the page to see all associated job requirements, and any responsibilities successful candidates can expect.Reporting To: General ManagerLocation: HertfordshireSalary: 45,000.00 + 10% bonusHybrid working: 3 days on site, 2 from home Job PurposeTo develop new product concepts, in line with internal and external briefs. To manage new products and product upgrades from concept to launch through the NPD process to ensure lines are launched on time and on budget.General Responsibilities NPD & EPD across all retail customers, working closely with our global supply baseProject management of NPD projectsDevelopment kitchenNPD samplesAccountabilities To work on creative concept development of new products, based on briefs from the retailer, briefs internally from the business as well as opportunities identified by yourself.To project manage all NPD critical paths to ensure all new products are launched on time into the retailer following the company's NPD process.To run the weekly NPD meeting with the relevant project teams and liaise with suppliers and customers on progress.To conduct store visits, development sessions, inspirational visits & gather trends to ensure we are at the forefront of food & consumer trends and keep ideas fresh & relevant.To present & cook up new product concepts as part of presentations to retailers as well as for internal meetings.To manage/oversee sample requests for all samples related to NPD.To manage & mentor the NPD assistantExperience, Knowledge and Qualifications Ideally studied a food related science.Development experienceExperience of working with, and presenting to retailers & working with retailer gate stage process and spec systemsFull UK driving licenseExperience of Microsoft project advantageous but not essentialGreat relationship builderOrganised, enthusiastic and passionate about food!
