Equifind is supporting a leading UK-based audit and accountancy firm in the appointment of a new Financial Reporting Team Leader to be based in their London office (Liverpool Street).You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.As head of the reporting team, you will manage a dedicated team responsible for supporting some of the UKs most exciting fund managers (incl. private equity investors, hedge funds, renewable energy developers) and other leading businesses. Youll be responsible for leading a team of 10-15 business services and outsourcing specialists.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services, strong team management skills, and a deep understanding of FCA regulatory data as the firm continues to grow and support its portfolio of high-profile clients.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of business services and outsourcing specialists, ensuring strong performance, collaboration, and professional development.Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring the delivery of high standards of service.Serve as the FCA subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and advising on best practices for data management, reporting, and governance.Develop and implement strategies to improve business services operations, streamline processes, and deliver enhanced value to clients.Oversee the financial and operational performance of the business services team, ensuring proper budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls for both internal and client-related activities.Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to drive continuous improvement and maintain a competitive edge.Remuneration:100-130,000 (+/- dependant on experience)Discretionary bonus Enrolment in company pensionFlexi working (ideally 2-3 days in office)25 days annual leave + bank holidaysPrivate medical insurancePermanent health insuranceFlexible working hoursLife assuranceA host of other great benefits!Qualifications & Experience:Qualified accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA or similar)A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar roleDeep understanding of FCA reporting and guidelinesProven experience in team management, with a minimum of 10 team membersExcellent communication and presentation skills
