Quality Engineer All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Location: Worcester Salary: 40k - 50k DOEWhat youll be doing Quality EngineerEnsure first-off parts are to drawing 'specification; record and pass off as appropriateComplete certificates of conformity and submit to clientsComplete 8Ds, SCARs, root-cause analysis and or 5Ys when necessary Suggest and implement appropriate countermeasures (e.g. Poke Yoke) Gather information, complete, and submit for approval PPAPs (incl APQPs, PFMEAs) Conduct system audits as per schedule matrixManage and execute CMM report requests from customers/management, as directedSuggest, and implement as directed, cost-saving 'scrap reduction ideasYour skills and experiences - Quality EngineerHas worked in a similar role in the automotive or aerospace industryIt is essential that you have experience with ISO 9001 Be able to contribute to the PPAP processBe able to use a variety of measuring equipment including; micrometer, vernier and CMM. Desirable (but not essential) - Quality EngineerExperience of working in plastic injection mouldingDemonstrable Lean/Six Sigma experience would be an advantageInternal Auditor qualifications and experience would be advantageousAll successful Quality Engineers will be contacted within 2 days of application
