Now, were embarking onPhase Threein the Poland Street area, continuing the regeneration of Ancoats and delivering 500 more homes for management of commercial tenants Manchesters people.As a landlord, we manageover 1,000 rental homesacross five (soon to be six) buildings in Ancoats and New Islington. Our homesare rented by a diverse mix of professionals, including teachers, midwives, and doctors; solicitors, graphic designers, and writers; hospitality workers, musicians, and artists; and professional sportspeople and business owners.The Role The deputy Chief Operating Officer , will work alongside and support the current Chief Operating Officer to maintain daily and ongoing delivery of the highest levels of operational management, performance, professional standards and service.Key ResponsibilitiesDeputizefor the Chief Operating Officer as required in all operational aspects of the day-to-day management of all the in house teams and services , providing strong and visible leadership across the organization.Monitor internal systems and procedures to ensure complianceIdentify and Recommend improvements to increase performance and ensure that organizational goal are met Assist in maintaining a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive encouraging professional development and staff retention.Assist in planning and monitoring meaningfulbudgetsto maximise rental income and minimize voids losses.Undertake specific projects as assigned by the Chief Operating officer to assist in forecasting the short medium and long term needs of the businessActs as the first contact for emergency action planning and response and reporting to the Chief Operating officer by exception Assist with resource planning Carry out internal audit to ensure regulatory and internal processes compliance Record and respond to customer complaints in line with our standard complaints procedure Research and maintain up to date knowledge of legislative changes to operational requirements What we are looking for Five or more years experience in residential lettings preferably in a Build to rent environmentExcellent knowledge of Landlord and tenant legislation Experience of following and overseeing the legal process relating to debt collection and breach of tenancyExceptional customer service Experience in the management of commercial tenants and an understanding of the obligations of a full repairing lease Member of Arlaor equivalent property management qualifications A detailed understand of the repairs and maintenance structure for BTRlandlords A back ground knowledge of the building safety act to support the Head of property servicesAbility to diagnose problems quickly and to foresee potential issuesUnderstand business planning and regulatory issues Excellent leadership skills and personal integrity Interested applicants should email their CVs to Jennifer Bendik, Chief Operating Officer, atJennifer.bendik@mcrlife.co.uk.
