The role involves translating design requirements into practical instructions and developing the manufacturing architecture for projects. Youll be responsible for coordinating daily support to operational staff within the manufacturing facility.This is a growth-oriented role offering valuable experience in manufacturing and exposure to cutting-edge initiatives such as Industrial Validation and Factory of the Future concepts.Working alongside the Principal Engineer, youll contribute to multiple projects with a focus on identifying and resolving manufacturing issues.Key Responsibilities:Support ongoing manufacturing lines and the introduction of new productsContribute to the industrial validation process using FMEA and process verification techniquesManage configuration control and integrate design modifications into manufacturing documentationSupport non-conformance investigations and resolutionEnsure products are manufactured with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectivenessTake responsibility for safe implementation of modified processes, in collaboration with SHE advisors, COSHH assessors, and human factors expertsCollaborate with design teams during product development to optimise Design for Manufacture (DfM)Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions and production BOMsDevelop and manage tooling requirementsWhat Were Looking For:Completion of a formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21)AND EITHER:HNC or equivalent in a relevant subjectORBEng in a relevant Engineering discipline
