Since our merger in 2021, weve expanded significantly supporting over 5,000 people annually and growing our income to 2.19 million. We deliver a wide range of services including therapy, advocacy, wellbeing support, and culturally appropriate mental health provision.We are proudly Led by Lived Experience, with over 75% of our staff having personal experience of mental health challenges. Our work is grounded in five core values:CompassionReal ChangeIntegrityEquityEmpowermentThe Role: TrusteeAs a Trustee, you will play a vital role in the governance and strategic direction of MiEB. Your responsibilities will include:Setting the strategic direction of the charity and ensuring alignment with our mission and valuesOverseeing financial and operational performance, ensuring MiEB remains solvent, well-run, and impactfulEnsuring legal and regulatory compliance, including charity and company lawChampioning equity, diversity, and inclusion across all aspects of our workSupporting and challenging the executive team, including the CEO, to deliver high-quality servicesContributing to board meetings, sub-committees, and strategic planning sessionsPromoting user involvement and ensuring the voice of lived experience is central to decision-makingWho Were Looking ForWe welcome applications from individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
